Greetings.... I recently purchased my fourth candle
lantern.... not as a replacement, but because I like them so much,
I just wanted four. They are perfect for back country canoe camping
when packing light is essential.... allows us to forgoe taking fueled
lanterns and fuel. Truly an amazing product. And today, I was looking
at your website, to find out where I could get a replacement spring...
and was further amazed to find out that you would send one free of charge...
how's that for customer focused!! But after contacting my local supplier /
store (Mountain Equipment Co-op), I found out they had a supply of replacement
parts, and they were able to provide me with a spring, free of charge. Wonderful...
absolutely wonderful. If only every consumer product was so well designed and
supported by the manufacturer and seller.

I've owned a candle uco candle lantern for a number of years
and it has never failed to draw comment whenever I've pulled
it out of my my backpack either to illuminate my tent or gather
around at night. I've used it at home and abroad whilst giving
night time briefings in field, its great.

I purchased one of your basic candle lanterns from REI in
Bloomington, MN and have just returned from a great trip to
the Boundary Waters Canoe area in Minnesota. This was my first
camping trip in which I used your candle lantern. It worked
great for me and will accompany me on all of my future outings.
Rain, wind, water, it functioned all night as needed, (we
had a guest who was afraid of bears so we used it all night
long each night).
I have been in the outdoors in many different situations for
over 30 years and your candle lantern is perhaps one of the most
functional outdoor products I have used. Nice work!

I have owned one of your fabulous lanterns for many years,
and it is one of my favorite possessions. sadly, i somehow
managed to lose the internal spring that pushes the candle
up as it burns... and my beloved lantern has been rendered
useless. i own the original one-candle model, and if you could
send me a new spring, i would greatly appreciate it.

No question, a few well-placed candles can set the mood so
that sparks fly later. To bring ambiance to the woods, try
the Uco Candlelier: a clever three-candle lantern that's amazingly
bright, and at just over one pound, pretty easy on the back.
It’s all you need to put the right light on a late-night dinner under
the stars. If you’ve really got your stuff together, try arranging wildflowers
around the Candlelier to kick your romance quotient up a notch.

Ok, I'm a huge fan! These lanterns go everywhere: camping, on the
livingroom mantle (decorateive/emerg. lght'g), there's one in the
back of my truck with the first aid kit. In the garage. They're
excellent for heating "4 season" tents in the winter (careful!),
they're everwhere, all the time!
I've got 4 singles (1 plain UCO - my first! From EMS - no logo),
1 EMS and 2 REI logo models - all silver, also I've got 1 3-candle
model (red). Also, 4 of the tealight holders - I got the new L.E.D
bottom last season - very cool! I have neoprene socks, a packable
reflector (that I personaly spent a few hours poishing to a "mirror
finish" in the underside - custom!), the works!!
Ok, my problem. I keep 2 lanterns hanging in the garage near the
workshop. 1 single and the triple. There was a small accident in
the garage - nothing serious, but... 2 dead soldiers - very bad!
One of my oldest single got mosty crushed - very sad! It was hanging
by the chain, open... and when down. The triple also fell but not
as bad as the single. The triple is bent back and is ok, except
of the glass. The single will take time and patience to reshape
the parts but it will on to burn again one day!
So I write to share my personal tale of candle lantern destruction
adn sadness and ask if you could please send me 2 replacement glasses
(1 small, 1 large). I'd be glad to pay for the parts. Thanks very
much.
